Turn a broad question into a useful next step
Choose Research in the workspace and describe the topic, your purpose, and the level of detail you need. You might compare programming concepts, investigate a science question, or look up documentation for a project you are building.
InriGPT can search Wikipedia and read supported official documentation. These tools give the assistant material to work from beyond the conversation. They do not provide unrestricted web search or a complete, constantly updated knowledge database.
Keep the sources in view
Ask for source links and distinguish quoted facts from the assistant’s interpretation. Open the original pages, check their dates, and make sure they support the answer. An explanation can sound confident and still be wrong or out of date.
When researching code, name the language, library, and version you are using. That gives the assistant a more precise question and helps you compare the answer against the documentation that applies to your project.
A helpful way to ask
“Explain how gravity affects motion in a 2D game. Separate the physics assumptions from implementation choices, link the sources you use, and suggest a small experiment I can build with Python.”
Follow up with a request for a diagram in words, a worked example, or a short quiz. When you are ready to experiment, switch to Build to create files and run a small program.
Choose the right mode
Chat is useful for writing, brainstorming, and explanations from the model’s knowledge. Research adds supported source lookups. Build adds project tools and a cloud environment. A regular Chat answer does not itself mean a live search happened.
